Do you remember a time as a child or young woman spending hours painting, singing, dancing, or writing poetry?   Like many of us, have you left those joys behind because at some point you made a decision that you were not an artist?  Or maybe you became too busy, and pursuing those favorite pastimes seemed frivolous and unproductive. 

Denying your natural, innate ability to create depletes your vitality and enthusiasm.  It allows you to maintain the illusion that you are in control of your life as you shelter yourself, not from others, but from your own criticism and judgment. The bad news is that creative and artistic denial can turn to addiction, disease, anger and depression.  The good news is we always have an opportunity to make a different choice.

Spend an evening with artist Miani Carnevale engaging in lively conversation with the intention of reclaiming your authentic, creative self.  Miani reminds us of the great gifts found in creating your life as a work of art.  It involves deep surrender, getting out of your head and letting go of the outcome.  It requires you to fully engage in this adventure you call Your Life.

Miani Carnevale is a professional artist and workshop facilitator.  A graduate of the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida, she has studied art in Florence, Italy and Oslo, Norway.  Miani has exhibited her work throughout the United States and is represented in collections nationwide.   She is currently an Artist in Resident at and on the Faculty of The Omega Institute. Miani considers herself a transformational activist and facilitates Creative Encounters designed to inspire connection through creative expression.
