As this holiday season approaches, are you beginning to feel that all too familiar dread in the pit of your stomach?  Are you wondering how you are going to make it through with style and grace, without feeling like you need most of January to recoup your energy and regain balance?  Are you thinking how many times have I promised myself this year will be different?

We all know the power of stating our intentions with clarity and having others who can lovingly hold us accountable.  We also know that unless we care for ourselves, we have nothing to give others.  I invite you to join the wonderful Women of Intention as Carol Keller facilitates an experiential evening and dialogue on how we can do holidays a new way this year, a way that
serves us, our friends and our families.

Carol is a professional life coach and co-founder of Transformational Journeys. Traveling the planet extensively for years and living and training with Shamans in Peru; the Matse Indians in the Amazon; Kahunas in Hawaii; High Priests in Indonesia and the Medicine Men of the Crow Nation, Carol experienced many paths to spiritual enlightenment and is a catalyst for personal transformation. Blending Shamanic traditions with co-active coaching Carol presently leads groups to exotic places around the world providing an experiential path to the realization of who you really are.

As a special added treat, Susan Norris will be presenting "A Little Recycling Goes A Long Way".  Those of you at the September meeting will remember the interest expressed by many of us in learning how to be better stewards.  Susan will be sharing tips on a subject near and dear to her heart.

Susan has been an avid environmentalist for many years.  She will teach us how small, easy measures taken make a larger impact than one would think.  Some topics to be covered are basic home recycling; recycling household hazardous wastes, phone books, glossy magazines, electronics, batteries, construction debris, basic composting and office recycling.

Consider joining us for an evening focusing on ways to take good care of ourselves so we may give to others and on how to take steps to take care of the planet.   The menu will follow in the next e-mail.

A reminder, at all 2007 events, one dollar for each women attending will be donated to The Ladies Half.  I invite you to check out their website www.theladieshalf.org and consider supporting them with your time and/or money.  It is my intention to support their efforts as all money donated will be used in our South-central Pennsylvania community.

Consider joining us for a unique experience.  As I have said before, my intention is for you to "expect the unexpected" when you attend the W of I gatherings.  Although the content will be ever changing, the camaraderie and sisterhood you will experience will be a constant joy.  Where else can you go, be in the company of like-minded women, women you may have just met, and feel a kinship, a connection?  Try it.  You will most likely be coming back.
